This is a two-day course for ages 7 to 17. Morning session 10am-1pm
It’s Bluebell time of year again! This is a lovely palette knife painting of a scene from Ross Island, with the bluebells in full bloom, and a nice muddy puddle in the foreground! You could put in a dog splashing around, or some birds in the trees; there’s always room for a bit of invention, and adding your own touch!
We will work from photographs and also a finished painting which I have prepared. I demonstrate each stage, as we go along explaining and analysing the techniques and colours that I have used. I like to focus on giving as much information as possible. Participants then paint each stage step-by-step with me.
There are up to 10 in the group and I will have an assistant also. There will usually be a mixture of brush & palette knife. There will be a break in the games room half way through.
Course Fee = €55
This course will run from Tuesday 18th to Wednesday 19th in the Easter break, 10am to 1pm each day in KDYS Killarney.
