Almond Blossom (tall) 28x70cm

Oil on board using the palette knife.  I just love almond blossom, perfect and radiant, the delicate icy white blossoms have the lightest hint of pink. Tiny new leaves with that reddish colour, bigger leaves that are a fresh new green, set against a strong blue sky that you could just drink! I did a series of 3 almond blossom paintings, this one is tall and thin.
