This slice of hedgerow is taken from photos along our Sherkin lanes. It is a bee’s eye view of the wild tumbling summer flowers that are so full of life and colour. I love to paint the mighty briars with their abundant flowers, white with a hint of pink, sometimes a lot of pink! They intertwine with nettles, ragwort, grasses, sticky-willow, meadow-sweet… all our wild flowers have such beauty and such precious medicinal use too!
