Boats at Ross Castle 100x73cm

Another autumn scene from one of my favourite locations in Killarney National Park. Ancient deciduous woodlands surround Ross Castle, and a row of fishing boats sit moored in the little canal that separates Ross Castle from Ross Road, and makes the headland an island. It’s a clear day, and the bright turquoise of the sky contrasts sharply with the clean fresh yellows of autumn.
