Description
The track leads up from the visitor center at Glendalough, climbing steeply with trees to either side ablaze with a riot of autumn colour. This is my favourite time of year for painting woodland scenes, and the trees in Glendalough are just manificent. The warm tones of golds, rusts and ochres against the blue sky are so uplifting and cheerful! The path winds its way around a sunny corner, drawing us into the distance.
