Description
Oil on canvas, painted with the palette knife to create a textured impasto.
Past St Mona’s Church and looking west over Trabawn, the road stretches straight ahead to the far side of Sherkin Island, Cape Clear in the distance. The sun sparkles over the sea and wild flowers line the roadside. Thistles, daisies, vetch and fuscia… an abundance of summer colour and delicate scent, our hedgerows are alive with bees buzzing!
