Glenbeigh races were first held on Rossbeigh Strand in 1924. Today it is one of the biggest race meetings on the horse and pony calendar. Set against the spectacular backdrop of the mountains of South West Kerry, it is a site to see and a superb day out. Here the horses are shown in profile as they gallop furiously along the beach. The blurred background and bold palette knife strokes capture the speed and energy of the race.
Unframed deep edge box canvas.
