Looking west out to Cape Clear, from up on the sand dunes with Silver Strand to the right, and Traban off to the left. This painting was done in May this year when the sea pinks were out in full glory, thick clumps of pink in amongst the grasses. Lamb’s Island juts out into the sea below us, and the headland is actually an old promontory fort.
