Spring in Innisbeg, a beautiful wooded island on the River Ilen estuary. We pass here on the way back to Sherkin from shopping trips in Skibbereen. It is a magical spot, and one day in late spring, here to see the bluebells we found a woodland path so un-trodden that it was moss-covered. The sunlight filtered through the trees, dancing over the bluebells and casting dappled shadows across this entrancing mossy path.
