A clear autumn day at the legendary Blarney Castle, the air is crisp and cold. I visited Blarney Castle this year when autumn was well underway, and the trees were glorious with colour. What a beautiful, much loved place it is….from the gardens and the castle to the stunning woodland walks beneath mature decidious trees, to the lake and river that flows beside the castle, it is well worth a visit. Walking around the castle grounds, in this painting you can see something of the formal gardens set against the rugged celtic architecture of the castle.
